Museum Identity Design

The Silk Road originated from the western Han Dynasty 202 to 8 BC when emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty sent Zhang Qian on a mission to the Western regions, starting from the capital of Chang’an. It passed through Gansu and Xinjiang, reached Central Asia and West Asia, and connected the Mediterranean countries, its primary function was the transport silk produced in ancient China, this road linked the Eurasian continent and is regarded as the intersection of the ancient eastern and western civilizations, and silk is the most representative goods for thousands of years. Nomads or tribes Merchants, Churchmen Diplomat Soldiers, and Scholars have traveled along the Silk Road. With time developing, the Silk Road became the general name of all the political economic, and cultural communication channels between ancient China and the West. 
The Ningbo Museum is showcasing precious cultural relics along the Silk Road. The exhibits consist of collections of ceramic and tea ware, presenting the process of making tea, including boiling tea(煮茶), whisking tea(點茶), and brewing tea(泡茶).
It is an immersive visitor experience, 'the Silk Road,'  Visitors walking into the museum can see the Silk Road map played on TV. Four NPCs (motion graphics) are known as cultural ambassadors. By following these characters, visitors can learn about architecture throughout the journey.
